What is the FAST Deck Tool?
It is a high-quality Swedish tool for invisible (lateral) anchoring of decking with special screws. FAST Deck Tool was launched at the exhibition Nordbygg 2018 in Sweden and has since enjoyed steadily growing popularity in Scandinavia. The spread of terrace laying with our system increases by 15 % every year. In 2021, it is estimated that 15-20% of all terraces will be laid with our system.

What is the best way to use the FAST Deck Tool?
The FAST Deck Tool is primarily designed for 26-34 mm thick wooden planks. It can be used for decking boards between 95 and 150 mm wide.
When installing on a terrace, the tool creates a gap of two to three millimeters between the wooden planks. Use the FAST Deck Spacer to create larger distances of 4/5/6/7 mm for the assembly of wooden planks (see below).
The tool is generally suitable for softer woods such as spruce, pine, larch, etc. We recommend pre-drilling for hardwood.
How to work with FAST Deck Tool?
Working with the FAST Deck Tool is quick and easy. You don’t need to measure anything, just attach the boards, screw the screw and move on to the next fixing point.
How to work with the FAST Deck Tool:
1. Squeeze the spring-loaded handle and attach the FAST Deck Tool to the decking board.
3. Use the special bits supplied with the screws and screw until the bit hits the steel bushing.
2. Insert the special screws into the steel bushing.
4. Move to the next attachment point using the FAST Deck Tool.

Screws and Bits FAST
We recommend using only FAST screws and special FAST bits when working with the FAST Deck Tool.
Screws FAST Stainless A4
FAST Stainless screws are special screws made of A4 grade stainless steel. The reverse pitch of the screws ensures the strength and flexibility of the connection.
They are resistant to harsh weather conditions including salt.
FAST Stainless screws are certified by the Institute for Technical Testing in Brno, see Downloads section.
Screws FAST Alloy steel C4
FAST Alloy screws are made of zinc coated alloy steel, grade C4. They have higher torsional strength and hold 44% more than stainless steel screws. Another advantage is the significantly lower price.
The disadvantage is the lower resistance to external influences compared to screws FAST Stainless. However, if the terrace is not in direct contact with salt, for example, in salt water pools, these screws are perfect for the conditions in Germany.
